Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that once, in the presence of the Prophet (ﷺ), I began to imitate a man or a woman. The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Even if I were to receive something greater in exchange for it, I would still not imitate anyone nor like it." (I said, "O Messenger of Allah! Safiyyah is such and such," and by saying this, I indicated with my hand that she was short in stature. The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "You have uttered such a word that if it were mixed with the water of the sea, it would change its color.")
