Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ السُّدِّيُّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْبَهِيِّ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ: " مَا كُنْتُ أَقْضِي مَا يَكُونُ عَلَيَّ مِنْ رَمَضَانَ، إِلَّا فِي شَعْبَانَ، حَتَّى تُوُفِّيَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " (٣)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Aisha that I used to make up my missed fasts of Ramadan only in the month of Sha'ban until the Prophet (peace be upon him) passed away.
