Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ أَبِي عَتِيقٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ،، ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عَائِشَةَ، تُحَدِّثُهُ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ: " إِنَّ السِّوَاكَ مَطْهَرَةٌ لِلْفَمِ، مَرْضَاةٌ لِلرَّبِّ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Aisha that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: Miswak is a means of purification of the mouth and the pleasure of the Lord.
