حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ، وَعَلِيُّ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ قَالَا: أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ مُبَارَكٍ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، وَيُونُسَ. - وَعَلِيِّ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، وَيُونُسُ - عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُتْبَةَ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ، أَنَّ عَائِشَةَ، زَوْجَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَتْ: " لَمَّا ثَقُلَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَاشْتَدَّ وَجَعُهُ، اسْتَأْذَنَ أَزْوَاجَهُ فِي أَنْ يُمَرَّضَ فِي بَيْتِي، فَأَذِنَّ لَهُ " (١)،

Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Aisha that when the Prophet (peace be upon him) felt heaviness due to illness and the sickness intensified, the Prophet (peace be upon him) sought permission from his pure wives to spend the days of his illness in my house, so all of them granted permission.
