Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا سُرَيْجٌ، وَمُوسَى بْنُ دَاوُدَ، قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ الدَّرَاوَرْدِيُّ، قَالَ مُوسَى، عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ: عَنْ هِشَامٍ، قَالَ سُرَيْجٌ فِي حَدِيثِهِ: قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي هِشَامُ بْنُ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، " أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يُسْتَقَى (١) لَهُ الْمَاءُ مِنْ بُيُوتِ السُّقْيَا " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Aisha that sweet water used to be brought from water sources for the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) to drink.
