Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ بِلَالٍ، عَنْ شَرِيكٍ يَعْنِي ابْنَ أَبِي نَمِرٍ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لَهَا: " يَا عَائِشَةُ، ارْفُقِي، فَإِنَّ اللهَ إِذَا أَرَادَ بِأَهْلِ بَيْتٍ خَيْرًا، دَلَّهُمْ عَلَى بَابِ الرِّفْقِ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Aisha that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: O Aisha! Act with gentleness, for when Allah intends good for the people of a household, He guides them to the door of gentleness.
