Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنٌ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْأَسْوَدِ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، " أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَنَامُ وَهُوَ جُنُبٌ إِذَا تَوَضَّأَ وُضُوءَهُ لِلصَّلَاةِ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Aisha that when the Prophet (peace be upon him) intended to sleep, he would perform ablution as he did for prayer.
