حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنُ بْنُ مُوسَى، وَعَفَّانُ، وَرَوْحٌ، قَالُوا: حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ، ، بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ حَمَّادٍ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنْ الْأَسْوَدِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ: " رُفِعَ الْقَلَمُ عَنْ ثَلَاثَةٍ: عَنِ الصَّبِيِّ حَتَّى يَحْتَلِمَ، وَعَنِ النَّائِمِ حَتَّى يَسْتَيْقِظَ، وَعَنِ الْمَعْتُوهِ حَتَّى يَعْقِلَ "، قَالَ عَفَّانُ: " وَعَنِ الْمَجْنُونِ حَتَّى يَعْقِلَ "، وَقَدْ قَالَ حَمَّادٌ: " وَعَنِ الْمَعْتُوهِ حَتَّى يَعْقِلَ "، وَقَالَ رَوْحٌ: " وَعَنِ الْمَجْنُونِ حَتَّى يَعْقِلَ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: Three types of people are exempt from accountability; no command is applied to them: first, the sleeping person until he wakes up; second, the child until he reaches puberty; and third, the insane person until he regains his senses.
