حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، قَالَ سُلَيْمَانُ الْأَعْمَشُ: أَخْبَرَنِي عَنْ ثَابِتٍ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ الْقَاسِمَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ: " نَاوِلِينِي الْخُمْرَةَ "، قَالَتْ: إِنِّي حَائِضٌ، قَالَ: " إِنَّهَا لَيْسَتْ فِي يَدِكِ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Aisha that once the Prophet (peace be upon him) said to me, "Pick up the mat from the mosque and give it to me." I said, "I am in my days (of menstruation)." The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "Your menstruation is not in your hand."
