حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ عَمَّتِهِ عَمْرَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ: " كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا طَلَعَ الْفَجْرُ صَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْنِ، أَوْ لَمْ يُصَلِّ إِلَّا رَكْعَتَيْنِ، أَقُولُ: يَقْرَأُ فِيهِمَا بِفَاتِحَةِ الْكِتَابِ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (ﷺ) used to perform the (Sunnah of Fajr) so briefly that I would say, "Did the Prophet (ﷺ) even recite Surah Al-Fatiha or not?"
