حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ الْخَفَّافُ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ التَّيْمِيُّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَتْنِي أُمَيْنَةُ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، أَنَّهَا سُئِلَتْ عَنْ نَبِيذِ الْجَرِّ، فَقَالَتْ: " تَعْجِزُ إِحْدَاكُنَّ أَنْ تَتَّخِذَ مِنْ أُضْحِيَّتِهَا سِقَاءً "، ثُمَّ قَالَتْ: " نَهَى رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، أَوْ مَنَعَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، عَنْ نَبِيذِ الْجَرِّ " وَكَذَا وَكَذَا نَسِيَهُ سُلَيْمَانُ (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
A person asked Aisha about the nabidh (fermented drink) made in a clay pot, so she said: "Are you women even incapable of making a water skin from the hide of your sacrificial animal?" Then she said: "The Prophet (peace be upon him) forbade nabidh made in clay pots and such-and-such things." Sulaiman forgot the explanation of "such-and-such things."
