حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْقَاسِمِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ: " وَدِدْتُ أَنِّي كُنْتُ اسْتَأْذَنْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَمَا اسْتَأْذَنَتْهُ سَوْدَةُ، فَأُصَلِّي الصُّبْحَ بِمِنًى، وَأُوَافِي قَبْلَ أَنْ يَجِيءَ النَّاسُ "، فَقَالُوا لِعَائِشَةَ: وَاسْتَأْذَنَتْهُ سَوْدَةُ؟ قَالَتْ: " إِنَّهَا كَانَتْ امْرَأَةً ثَقِيلَةً ثَبِطَةً، فَأَذِنَ لَهَا " (١)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that she said: "I wish I had also taken permission from the Prophet (peace be upon him) like Saudah did, and had gone to Mina to offer the Fajr prayer and completed my tasks before the people arrived." People asked, "Did Saudah have this permission?" She replied, "The Prophet (peace be upon him) had given Saudah bint Zam'ah permission to return from Muzdalifah before Fajr because she was a weak woman."
