Abdullah bin Shaqiq reports: I asked Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) about the voluntary prayers of the Prophet (ﷺ) at night. She replied: In the night prayer, the Prophet (ﷺ) would stand for a long time and sit for quite a while. The Prophet (ﷺ) would also recite, bow, and prostrate while standing.
