حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عِمْرَانَ يَعْنِي الْقَرِيعِيَّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ شَمَّاسٍ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عَائِشَةَ، تُحَدِّثُ تَقُولُ: " نَهَانَا رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنِ الْحَنْتَمِ، وَهُوَ الْجَرُّ، وَالدُّبَّاءِ، وَالنَّقِيرِ، وَعَنِ الْمُزَفَّتِ " (٢)، ،

Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (ﷺ) forbade us from using vessels called naqir, dubba, muzaffat, and hantam.
