حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزٌ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ مُعَاذَةَ، قَالَتْ: سَأَلْتُ عَائِشَةَ، كَمْ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُصَلِّي الضُّحَى؟ قَالَتْ: " أَرْبَعَ رَكَعَاتٍ، وَيَزِيدُ مَا شَاءَ اللهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
Mu’adhah says that I asked Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her), “How many rak’ahs did the Prophet (ﷺ) pray at Duha?” She replied, “Four rak’ahs, and he would add to them as much as Allah willed.”
