حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ بْنِ أَبِي عَلْقَمَةَ، عَنْ أُمِّهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَمَرَ النَّاسَ عَامَ حَجَّةِ الْوَدَاعِ،، ، فَقَالَ: " مَنْ أَحَبَّ أَنْ يَبْدَأَ مِنْكُمْ بِعُمْرَةٍ قَبْلَ الْحَجِّ، فَلْيَفْعَلْ "، وَأَفْرَدَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْحَجَّ، وَلَمْ يَعْتَمِرْ (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Aisha that in the year of the Farewell Pilgrimage, the Prophet (peace be upon him) instructed the people, saying: Whoever among you wishes to perform Umrah before Hajj may do so. And the Prophet (peace be upon him) himself performed only Hajj (not Umrah) because he had the sacrificial animal with him.
