Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Aisha that once a poor woman came to me carrying her two daughters. I gave her three dates. She gave one date each to her daughters and brought one date to her mouth to eat herself, but at that moment her daughters asked her for more dates. So she divided that date into two parts and gave them to her daughters. I was greatly amazed at this incident. Later, I mentioned this incident to the Prophet (peace be upon him), and the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: Allah Almighty has made Paradise obligatory for that woman because of this and has freed her from Hell.
