حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ، عَنْ سُوَيْدِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ، عَنْ ابْنِ قُرَيْطَ (٢) الصَّدَفِيِّ، قَالَ:، ، قُلْتُ لِعَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهَا، أَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُضَاجِعُكِ وَأَنْتِ حَائِضٌ؟ قَالَتْ: " نَعَمْ، إِذَا شَدَدْتُ عَلَيَّ إِزَارِي، وَلَمْ يَكُنْ لَنَا إِذْ ذَاكَ إِلَّا فِرَاشٌ وَاحِدٌ، فَلَمَّا رَزَقَنِي اللهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ فِرَاشًا آخَرَ، اعْتَزَلْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
Ibn Qurayzah Sadfi says that I asked Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her), "Would the Prophet (ﷺ) lie down with you even during your menstrual period?" She replied, "Yes, when I would tie my lower garment, because at that time we had only one bed. And when Allah Almighty gave me another bed, I would separate myself."
