Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Aisha that there are some supplications which the Prophet (peace be upon him) used to say frequently: "O Turner of the hearts! Keep my heart firm upon Your religion." I asked, "O Messenger of Allah! Why do you often make these supplications?" The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "The heart of a person is between two fingers of Allah the Almighty; if He wills, He turns it aside, and if He wills, He keeps it straight."
