English translation
It is narrated from Aisha that once the other noble wives of the Prophet (peace be upon him) sent Fatima to the Prophet (peace be upon him). She sought permission to enter the house, at that time the Prophet (peace be upon him) was with Aisha under her sheet. The Prophet (peace be upon him) granted Fatima permission to enter. She came in and said, "O Messenger of Allah! Your noble wives have sent me to you, they request justice from you regarding the daughter of Abu Quhafah." The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "Beloved daughter! Will you not love whom I love?" She replied, "Why not." The Prophet (peace be upon him) said regarding Aisha, "Then love her as well." Hearing this, Fatima stood up and left, and informed the noble wives about the conversation that took place between her and the Prophet (peace be upon him). Upon hearing this, they said, "You could not do anything for us. Go to the Prophet (peace be upon him) again." But Fatima said, "By Allah, now I will not speak to him about this matter again." Then the noble wives sent Zainab bint Jahsh. She sought permission, and the Prophet (peace be upon him) granted her permission as well. When she entered, she also said, "O Messenger of Allah! Your noble wives have sent me to you, they request justice from you regarding the daughter of Abu Quhafah." Aisha says that after this, she (Zainab) started attacking me (with taunts). I kept looking at the Prophet (peace be upon him) to see if he would permit me to respond. When I realized that if I responded to her, the Prophet (peace be upon him) would not mind, then I started responding to Zainab and did not leave her until I silenced her. The Prophet (peace be upon him) kept smiling during this, then said, "She too is the daughter of Abu Bakr."
