Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ كَيْسَانَ، قَالَ:، ، حَدَّثَتْنِي عَمْرَةُ بِنْتُ قَيْسٍ الْعَدَوِيَّةُ، قَالَتْ: سَمِعْتُ عَائِشَةَ، تَقُولُ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " الْفَارُّ مِنَ الطَّاعُونِ، كَالْفَارِّ مِنَ الزَّحْفِ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Aisha that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: Whoever flees from the plague is like one who flees from the battlefield.
