حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مَيْمُونٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الْأَحْوَصِ، عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، أَنَّ رَجُلًا ذُكِرَ عِنْدَ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَقَالَ: " بِئْسَ عَبْدُ اللهِ أَخُو الْعَشِيرَةِ "، ثُمَّ دَخَلَ عَلَيْهِ، فَجَعَلَ يُكَلِّمُهُ، ثُمَّ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، يُقْبِلُ عَلَيْهِ بِوَجْهِهِ، حَتَّى ظَنَنْتُ أَنَّ لَهُ عِنْدَهُ مَنْزِلَةً (١)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Aisha that once a man came to the service of the Prophet (peace be upon him) and sought permission to enter. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "He is a very bad man of his tribe." When he came inside, the Prophet (peace be upon him) spoke to him gently, and I saw that the Prophet (peace be upon him) was giving him so much attention that I began to think perhaps he holds a very high status in the court of the Messenger.
