حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عُمَرَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ هَوْذَةَ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ عَمَّتِهِ، أَنَّهَا حَدَّثَتْهَا عَائِشَةُ، قَالَتْ: " مَا رَأَيْتُ فِي وَجْهِ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ هَيْجًا حَتَّى يَرَى غَيْمًا، فَإِذَا أَمْطَرَ ذَلِكَ الْغَيْمُ، ذَهَبَ ذَلِكَ الْهَيْجُ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Aisha that I never saw signs of agitation on the face of the Prophet (peace be upon him), except when a cloud appeared (then those signs would be evident), and when that cloud would rain, those signs would also disappear.
