Original Arabic

حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي الْأَسْوَدِ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، " أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَهَى عَنِ الصَّلَاةِ مِنْ حِينِ تَطْلُعُ الشَّمْسُ حَتَّى تَرْتَفِعَ، وَمَنْ حِينِ تَصُوبُ حَتَّى تَغِيبَ " (٣)، ،

Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (ﷺ) forbade performing prayer at the time of sunrise until it rises high, and similarly forbade it at the time of sunset until it sets completely.
