حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ دَاوُدَ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ الْمُؤَمَّلِ، عَنْ ابْنِ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ: قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ (١) : " يَا عَائِشَةُ، إِنَّ أَوَّلَ مَنْ يَهْلِكُ (٢) مِنَ النَّاسِ قَوْمُكِ " قَالَتْ: قُلْتُ: جَعَلَنِي اللهُ فِدَاءَكَ أَبَنِي تَيْمٍ، قَالَ: " لَا، وَلَكِنْ هَذَا الْحَيُّ مِنْ قُرَيْشٍ، تَسْتَحْلِيهِمْ الْمَنَايَا، ويَنْفَسُ الناسُ عَنْهُمْ (٣) أَوَّلَ النَّاسِ هَلَاكًا " قُلْتُ: فَمَا، ، بَقَاءُ النَّاسِ بَعْدَهُمْ؟ قَالَ: " هُمْ صُلْبُ النَّاسِ، فَإِذَا هَلَكُوا هَلَكَ النَّاسُ (١) " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: O Aisha! The first people to be destroyed among the people will be those of your tribe. I asked, "May Allah make me your ransom, do you mean the people of Banu Taym?" The Prophet (ﷺ) said: No, rather this tribe of Quraysh. Desires will be adorned before them and people will withdraw from them, and they will be the first to be destroyed. I asked, "Then what will remain of the people after them?" The Prophet (ﷺ) said: Quraysh are the backbone of the people, so when they are destroyed, the common people will also begin to be destroyed.
