Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو حَزْرَةَ الْقَاصُّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ (١) اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي عَتِيقٍ،، ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " لَا يُصَلِّيَنَّ أَحَدُكُمْ بِحَضْرَةِ الطَّعَامِ، وَلَا وَهُوَ يُدَافِعُهُ الْأَخْبَثَانِ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: No person should offer prayer when food has been served before him or while suppressing the urge to urinate or defecate.
