حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنٌ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُوَيْسٍ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُنْكَدِرِ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " مَا مِنَ امْرِئٍ تَكُونُ لَهُ صَلَاةٌ بِاللَّيْلِ، فَيَغْلِبُهُ عَلَيْهَا نَوْمٌ، إِلَّا كَتَبَ اللهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ لَهُ أَجْرَ صَلَاتِهِ، وَكَانَ نَوْمُهُ ذَلِكَ صَدَقَةً " (١)،

Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: Whoever gets up to pray at any part of the night and then falls asleep, the reward for the prayer is written for him, and his sleep is also considered charity for which he is rewarded.
