حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ حَفْصٍ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا سَلَمَةَ يَقُولُ: دَخَلْتُ أَنَا وَأَخُو عَائِشَةَ مِنَ الرَّضَاعَةِ عَلَى عَائِشَةَ، فَسَأَلَهَا أَخُوهَا عَنْ غُسْلِ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، " فَدَعَتْ بِإِنَاءٍ نَحْوًا مِنْ صَاعٍ فَاغْتَسَلَتْ، وَأَفْرَغَتْ عَلَى رَأْسِهَا ثَلَاثًا، وَبَيْنَنَا وَبَيْنَهَا، ، الْحِجَابُ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
Abu Salamah (may Allah have mercy on him) says that once I and a foster brother of Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) came to her. Her brother asked her about the bathing (ghusl) of the Prophet (peace be upon him), so she called for a vessel equal to one sa’ and began to bathe. She poured water over her head three times, and at that time there was a curtain between us and her.
