حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ: وَسَمِعْتُهُ أَنَا مِنْ ابْنِ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ إِدْرِيسَ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنِ الْحَكَمِ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، أَنَّ سَائِلًا سَأَلَ، قَالَتْ: فَأَمَرْتُ الْخَادِمَ، فَأَخْرَجَ لَهُ، ، شَيْئًا، قَالَتْ: فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَهَا: " يَا عَائِشَةُ، لَا تُحْصِي فَيُحْصِي اللهُ عَلَيْكِ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that once a beggar asked her for something, so she told the servant, and he brought something. On this occasion, the Prophet (ﷺ) said to her: "O Aisha! Do not give by counting, otherwise Allah will also give to you by counting."
