حَدَّثَنَا الْخُزَاعِيُّ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا لَيْثٌ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ الْهَادِ، عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ سَرْجِسَ، عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ،، ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ: رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ يَمُوتُ وَعِنْدَهُ قَدَحٌ فِيهَا مَاءٌ، وَهُوَ يُدْخِلُ يَدَهُ فِيهِ فَيَمْسَحُ بِهِ وَجْهَهُ وَيَقُولُ: " اللهُمَّ أَعِنِّي عَلَى سَكَرَاتِ الْمَوْتِ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that at the time of agony, I saw the Prophet (ﷺ) that a bowl of water was placed near him, and the Prophet (ﷺ) kept putting his hand into the bowl and wiping it over his face, and kept supplicating: "O Allah! Help me in the agonies of death."
