حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنُ بْنُ مُوسَى قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ، عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ سَعِيدِ بْنِ زَيْدِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ خُبَيْبِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، زَوْجِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَتْ: طَرَقَتْنِي الْحَيْضَةُ مِنَ اللَّيْلِ، وَأَنَا إِلَى جَنْبِ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَتَأَخَّرْتُ، فَقَالَ: " مَا لَكِ أَنُفِسْتِ " قَالَتْ: لَا، وَلَكِنِّي حِضْتُ، قَالَ: " فَشُدِّي عَلَيْكِ إِزَارَكِ ثُمَّ عُودِي " (١)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that once, during the night, my menstruation suddenly started while I was lying beside the Prophet (ﷺ). So I moved away. The Prophet (ﷺ) asked, "What happened? Have your days of nifas (postnatal bleeding) started?" She replied, "No, rather my days of menstruation have started." The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Wrap your lower garment well and then come back."
