حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ، حَدَّثَنَا لَيْثٌ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ، عَنْ عَمَّارِ (١) بْنِ أَبِي فَرْوَةَ، أَنَّ مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ مُسْلِمٍ حَدَّثَهُ، أَنَّ عُرْوَةَ حَدَّثَهُ، أَنَّ عَمْرَةَ بِنْتَ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ حَدَّثَتْهُ، أَنَّ عَائِشَةَ حَدَّثَتْهَا، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " إِذَا زَنَتِ الْأَمَةُ فَاجْلِدُوهَا، وَإِنْ زَنَتْ فَاجْلِدُوهَا، وَإِنْ زَنَتْ فَاجْلِدُوهَا، ثُمَّ بِيعُوهَا وَلَوْ بِضَفِيرٍ " وَالضَّفِيرُ الْحَبْلُ (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: If any of you has a slave-girl who commits adultery and her crime is proven, then give her the punishment of lashes. Then, if she commits the same sin a third or fourth time, he said: Sell her, even if you receive only a rope made of hair as her price.
