حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ عَمْرَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ: كَانَ النَّاسُ عُمَّالَ أَنْفُسِهِمْ، فَكَانُوا يَرُوحُونَ كَهَيْئَتِهِمْ، فَقِيلَ لَهُمْ: " لَوْ اغْتَسَلْتُمْ " (١)، ، . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that people used to do their work with their own hands and would come for Jumu'ah in that state, so the Prophet (ﷺ) said to them: If only you would perform ghusl (ritual bath).
