Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ بُرْقَانَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْبَهِيِّ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " اللهُمَّ مَنْ رَفَقَ بِأُمَّتِي فَارْفُقْ بِهِ، وَمَنْ شَقَّ عَلَيْهِمْ فَشُقَّ عَلَيْهِ " (١)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: O Allah! Whoever is gentle with my Ummah, be gentle with him, and whoever is harsh with them, be harsh with him.
