Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ،، ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ (١) : سَمِعَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَجُلًا يَقْرَأُ آيَةً، فَقَالَ: " رَحِمَهُ اللهُ، لَقَدْ أَذْكَرَنِي آيَةً كُنْتُ نُسِّيتُهَا " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (ﷺ) heard a man reciting a verse of the Noble Qur'an, so he said: "May Allah have mercy on him, he reminded me of such-and-such verse which I had forgotten."
