حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ، وَأَبُو أُسَامَةَ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا هِشَامٌ الْمَعْنَى، عَنْ أَبِيهِ،، ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " لَوْلَا حَدَاثَةُ عَهْدِ قَوْمِكِ بِالْكُفْرِ لَنَقَضْتُ الْكَعْبَةَ، ثُمَّ جَعَلْتُهَا عَلَى أُسِّ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ، فَإِنَّ قُرَيْشًا يَوْمَ بَنَتْهَا اسْتَقْصَرَتْ، وَلَجَعَلْتُ لَهَا خَلْفًا " قَالَ أَبُو أُسَامَةَ: " خِلْفًا " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: If your people were not close to the time of disbelief, I would demolish the Kaaba and rebuild it upon the foundations of Ibrahim (peace be upon him), because when the Quraysh built it, they left out a part of it, and I would also make a door at the back of it.
