Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْحَمِيدِ بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ حَمْزَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " مَا أَصَابَ الْمُسْلِمَ مِنْ شَيْءٍ كَانَ لَهُ أَجْرًا وَكَفَّارَةً " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: Whenever a Muslim is afflicted with any hardship, it becomes a source of reward and expiation for him.
