Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، عَنْ هِشَامٍ، وَعَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ، عَنْ يَحْيَى، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حِطَّانَ، أَنَّ عَائِشَةَ حَدَّثَتْهُ، قَالَتْ: " لَمْ يَكُنْ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَدَعُ فِي بَيْتِهِ ثَوْبًا فِيهِ تَصْلِيبٌ، إِلَّا نَقَضَهُ " (١)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (ﷺ) would not leave in his house any cloth on which there was a sign of a cross, until he would remove it.
