حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، عَنْ هِشَامٍ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي،، ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، " أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يُصَلِّي مِنَ اللَّيْلِ ثَلَاثَ عَشْرَةَ رَكْعَةً، يُوتِرُ بِخَمْسٍ، لَا يَجْلِسُ إِلَّا فِي الْخَامِسَةِ، فَيُسَلِّمُ " (١)،

Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (ﷺ) used to pray thirteen rak'ahs at night, and he would make witr on the fifth pair, and he would say salam while sitting in that (last rak'ah).
