حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، عَنْ هِشَامٍ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، " أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ كَانَ يُصَلِّي مِنَ اللَّيْلِ، وَأَنَا مُعْتَرِضَةٌ فِيمَا بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَ الْقِبْلَةِ عَلَى الْفِرَاشِ، فَإِذَا أَرَادَ أَنْ يُوتِرَ أَيْقَظَنِي " (٢)، ،

Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that sometimes when the Prophet (ﷺ) would pray at night, I would be lying on the bed between him and the Qiblah. When the Prophet (ﷺ) intended to pray Witr, he would wake me up.
