Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that a thief was brought to the service of the Prophet (ﷺ). The Prophet (ﷺ) gave the order regarding him and his hand was cut off. Some people said, "O Messenger of Allah! We did not think that the matter would reach this extent." The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "If my daughter Fatimah had been in her place, I would have cut off her hand as well."
