Umrah narrates that once Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) fell ill and her illness lasted for a very long time. During this period, a physician came to Madinah Munawwarah. The nephews of Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) went to him and asked about her illness. He said, "The condition you are describing about this woman, it seems that she has been bewitched, and her slave-girl has done magic on her." Upon investigation, the slave-girl confessed, "Yes! I had magic done on you. I wanted you to die so that I could be freed, because Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) had told this slave-girl that after my death, you will be set free." When the truth became clear, Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) said, "Sell this slave-girl to the strongest people in Arabia and spend her price on a slave-girl like her."
