٢٤٠١٣ - حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ: لَمَّا نَزَلَ عُذْرِي مِنَ السَّمَاءِ جَاءَنِي النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَأَخْبَرَنِي بِذَلِكَ، فَقُلْتُ: " بِحَمْدِ اللهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ لَا بِحَمْدِكَ " (١) (٢)
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that when the command of my exoneration was revealed from the sky, the Prophet (ﷺ) came to me and informed me of it. So I said, "We praise Allah Almighty; we do not thank you."
