حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُوسَى، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ، أَنَّ أَبَا عَلِيٍّ الْهَمْدَانِيَّ، أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّهُ رَأَى فَضَالَةَ بْنَ عُبَيْدٍ أَمَرَ بِقُبُورِ الْمُسْلِمِينَ فَسُوِّيَتْ بِأَرْضِ الرُّومِ وَقَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: " سَوُّوا قُبُورَكُمْ بِالْأَرْضِ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
Abu Ali Hamdani says that we set out with Fadala bin Ubaid (may Allah be pleased with him) towards the land of Rome so that the graves of the Muslims may be leveled, and he said that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) commanded us to level the graves.
