حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنٌ، حَدَّثَنَا شَرِيكٌ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ حُسَيْنٍ، عَنْ أَبِي رَافِعٍ، قَالَ: ضَحَّى رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِكَبْشَيْنِ أَمْلَحَيْنِ، ، مَوْجِيَّيْنِ خَصِيَّيْنِ، فَقَالَ: " أَحَدُهُمَا عَمَّنْ شَهِدَ بِالتَّوْحِيدِ، وَلَهُ بِالْبَلَاغِ، وَالْآخَرُ عَنْهُ وَعَنْ أَهْلِ بَيْتِهِ " قَالَ: فَكَاَنَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَدْ كَفَانَا (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Rafi’ (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) sacrificed two beautiful, castrated rams and said: One of them is on behalf of every person who bears witness to the oneness of Allah and to the Prophethood of the Noble Prophet (ﷺ), and the other is on behalf of himself and his family. The narrator says that in this way, the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) sufficed for us.
