Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي الْهَيْثَمِ الْعَطَّارُ، قَالَ:، ، سَمِعْتُ يُوسُفَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ سَلَامٍ، يَقُولُ: " سَمَّانِي رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، وَمَسَحَ عَلَى رَأْسِي " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Yusuf bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) that my name "Yusuf" was given by the Noble Prophet (ﷺ), and he (ﷺ) placed his blessed hand on my head.
