Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ زَكَرِيَّا، حَدَّثَنَي أَبِي، عَنْ أَبِي (١) إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ آلِ أَبِي قُرَّةَ، عَنْ سَلْمَانَ، قَالَ: " كُنْتُ اسْتَأْذَنْتُ مَوْلَاتِي فِي ذَلِكَ، فَطَيَّبَتْ لِي فَاحْتَطَبْتُ حَطَبًا فَبِعْتُهُ، فَاشْتَرَيْتُ ذَلِكَ الطَّعَامَ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Salman Farsi (may Allah be pleased with him) that in this regard, I used to seek permission from my mistress; she would gladly grant me permission. I would cut wood, sell it, and buy food with it.
