Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ رَبِّهِ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، حَدَّثَنِي الزُّبَيْدِيُّ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ ثَعْلَبَةَ بْنِ صُعَيْرٍ الْعُذْرِيِّ، قَالَ: " وَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَدْ مَسَحَ وَجْهَهُ زَمَنَ الْفَتْحِ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abdullah bin Thalabah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) passed his hand over his face at the time of the conquest of Makkah.
