حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كَامِلٍ، حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عِيسَى، حَدَّثَنِي مُوسَى بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ، عَنْ أَبِي حُمَيْدٍ أَوْ أَبِي حُمَيْدَةَ، قَالَ:، وَقَدْ رَأَى رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ،: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " إِذَا خَطَبَ أَحَدُكُمْ امْرَأَةً، فَلَا جُنَاحَ عَلَيْهِ أَنْ يَنْظُرَ إِلَيْهَا إِذَا كَانَ إِنَّمَا يَنْظُرُ إِلَيْهَا لِخِطْبَةٍ (١) ، وَإِنْ كَانَتْ لَا تَعْلَمُ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Humaid Sa'idi (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: When any one of you sends a proposal of marriage to a woman, there is no harm in looking at her if there is an intention of marriage, even if the woman does not know.
