Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنِي عَتَّابٌ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا بُكَيْرُ بْنُ الْأَشَجِّ، أَنَّ أَبَاهُ حَدَّثَهُ، أَنَّ عُبَيْدَ بْنَ تِعْلَى حَدَّثَهُ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا أَيُّوبَ، يَقُولُ: " نَهَى رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ صَبْرِ الدَّابَّةِ " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Ayyub Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him) that I heard the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) prohibit killing an animal after tying it up.
